Matchbox cars,
Watching stars,
Bare feet in the grass,
Things of Summer play
For a child.
Catching frogs,
Pretending dogs,
Playing hide and seek,
It's the best way
For a child.
Building forts,
Bugs, all sorts,
Riding bikes in the drive,
What a lovely day
For a child.
Time slips by
And bonds that tie
To these sweet memories
When we were a child.

-Just some thoughts, a mingling of my own memories and memories I see my youngest son making. Feeling a bit nostalgic seeing his toys strewn in the yard.
I love the little treasure box - lying mouth open after having dispensed the cars from it's inside. And what's more childhood than a Radio Flyer? I miss those days.
